VERDEX CONSTRUCTION BEGINS WORK TO BUILD WATER TOWER COMMONS APARTMENTS
West Palm Beach-based Verdex Construction has started construction of Water Tower Commons, a master-planned residential development in Lantana, Florida. The project consists of 14 buildings with 360 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, plus a clubhouse with yoga studio, spa, and exercise room. Interior space totals 430,000 sq. ft. including the clubhouse, and the site is 16.11 acres. Other amenities include a pool, park, and outdoor barbeque area.
The development is located on the former site of the A.G. Holley State Hospital, north of Lantana Road just east of I-95. Miami-based Related Group is the developer, and MSA Architects of Miami designed the project.

Projects currently underway or recently finished by Verdex Construction in South Florida include the Canopy Hotel in Downtown West Palm Beach; 1000 North, an upscale restaurant/club on the Loxahatchee River in Jupiter; Sabbia Beach Condominiums, a 19-story, 68 unit luxury residential tower in Pompano Beach; and the Town Southern apartments project in Royal Palm Beach.
